Lets Go Marlins
by Larry Turner

In stark contrast to their neighbors in the Kaseya Center, the players cavorting around loanDepot Park effuse toughness, talent and a loose demeanor without shame. We certainly cannot realistically expect the team to sustain its opening win percentage, but this appears to be a group that believes in itself and won’t give up no matter what the circumstances.

Led by the experience of players such as #22 and the freshness and no-fear attitude of a bevy of newer faces, you don’t want to get that last glass of… water just because they are a few runs in arrears in the top of the ninth. Teams like this are fun to watch and, although there surely will be tough sledding ahead at times, those in attendance or staying in touch as viewers, will feel the same never-give-up attitude no matter the message at times on the scoreboard.

Management has done a wonderful job of mixing the old with the new to create something very worthy of watching every step of the way through this 2026 season.
