Sunset Key Cottages are located on a 27-acre island, a 10-minute boat trip away from Key West. Transportation to and from Sunset Key is aboard the resort’s 24-hour launch service which docks at Sunset Key’s sister property, the Key West Resort & Marina.
This intimate and private resort offers 40 custom-designed two, three, and four-bedroom cottages steps away from the beautiful white sand beach. All cottages have a living and dining area, an equipped kitchen and modern amenities, and the four-bedroom cottages feature a private plunge pool.
In addition to the beautiful beach with tiki hut cabanas, there is a free-form zero-degree entry pool with two whirlpools located at the center of the resort. Water sports activities include snorkeling, kayak excursions, jet skis, and fishing. Other activities include two Har-Tru, lighted tennis courts, a fitness center and half basketball court.
The Spa at Sunset Key provides personalized service with three spacious treatment suites complete with a private patio. Every appointment provides a 25-minute post-treatment relaxation time. Guests are offered a selection of traditional and tropical body treatments and facial and touch therapy options, including a couples’ massage.
The resort dining includes Latitudes Restaurant and Lounge offering casual island fare with a menu that features local fish, fresh produce, and a selection of meats, poultries and pasta. Breakfast, lunch and dinner are serv-ed at Latitudes. In addition to the restaurant, the resort chefs send guests a basket of fresh-baked pastries and whole fruit along with freshly squeezed orange juice. Room service is also available. Located in the center of the resort near the pool, Flippers Pool Bar offers a variety of salads, specialty sandwiches and cold beverages.
Since each cottage has a kitchen, the resort also offers a grocery shopping service that can be ordered prior to check-in or after arrival.
Complimentary ice cream and gelato are served daily in the afternoon, and a rum tasting is available at the outdoor bar.
And, when you want to enjoy the entertainment and colorful atmosphere of Key West, you can take the shuttle service into town to enjoy it all knowing when you return to Sunset Key Cottages you will enjoy the tranquility and peacefulness the island offers.
