The DUNE Restaurant

We were introduced to Dune Restaurant by a family member who was impressed with the ambience, menu and quality of food. So we decided to visit this relatively new beachfront restaurant located in the upscale Auberge Beach Residences & Spa.

This oceanfront restaurant is an upscale South Florida gourmet destination overlooking the Atlantic Ocean. The restaurant is headed by globally acclaimed Michelin-starred Chef Laurent Tourondel. The ambience is both elegant and relaxing and combines that with impeccable service by its entire staff. It’s part of the experience that makes this a special choice. Chef Tourondel’s passion brought forth an award-winning portfolio of restaurants throughout the world. DUNE ushers in a new era of contemporary American cuisine characterized by an emphasis on creativity and innovation. The menu is inspired by his travels throughout the Mediterranean, with fresh locally sourced options.

Signature dishes include Grilled Colossal Prawns, Spaghettini Lobster “Fra Diavolo,” and the 28-day aged Ribeye Steak, plus they boast a variety of creative sushi and flatbreads. Current summer initiatives include “Wine Down Mondays,” where patrons can enjoy 50% off all bottles of wine priced between $100-$200, and “Surf and Turf Tuesdays,” where DUNE features ½ lobster, center cut filet, sauteed spinach, and fingerling potatoes for $55.

In addition to the dining room, DUNE offers The Ocean Deck dining option with over 5,000 square feet of waterfront dining featuring 180-degree views.

For those of us wine lovers, there is also The Wine Cellar room for special occasions. The Ocean Room can accommodate up to 14 guests, features an extensive collection of over 300 wines from around the globe, and is yours to enjoy by reservation. The wine room is glass-enclosed and surrounded by three stunning walls of vinos and refrigerated wine cabinets sure to enhance any dining experience.

For those who enjoy a casual evening the DUNE Restaurant also operates an oceanside bar that features lite bites.
